Can anyone explain why my I bought my broadband connection from
www.sayuk.com (the £12.50 - 512k connection) why when I run tests on it, it
runs at 920k ?

I am not even close to the exchange.

Interesting!
Mark

BT$ upped their basic speed to 2mb - may be you get upgraded.

The other possibility is to say something and have it downgraded.

The third possibility, the clever option, is to shutyourmouthandsaynothin.

Perhaps you should ask your tech support department ?
Whilst you're at it, ask your abuse department about how NOT to
market your site !

I take it you mean 'lose'? Or did you really mean his website will become
'loose'; like an elderly woman's genitalia?

There's a thought for you all before snoozey-sleep-time...

920,000 bits/s or some other measure ?

probably because you bought it from an incompetent supplier who either
ordered the wrong thing or failed to apply their internal rate
limiting to it.

which is irrelevant as you get a fixed speed or it doesn't work at
all.

The Grove is a specialist maths and computing college at St Leonards on
Sea, East Sussex <http://www.grove.e-sussex.sch.uk/>. Perhaps it's an
over-enthusiastic student or lecturer?
