I have this wireless router and sometimes I need to reset
the router in order for it to recognize my wireless
connection. The wired ethernet connections ALWAYS work.
When I try and use a wireless connection, my laptop is
able to connect to the network, but for some reason, the
router is not assigning a 'good' IP address to my
wireless connection. I've tried doing a release and
renew with no success. I've tried rebooting and have
experienced this problem with all security modes. The
only way that I'm able to resolve this is to reset the
router. (When I connect the laptop using a cable, the
wired connection is fine.)
As you can imagine, this is very annoying. Is there
anything else that I can do or try? I have the latest
firmware. Also, even after reseting the router, the DHCP
client list does not reset (it should only show currently
connected computers). How can I get this list to clear?
Thanks.
