Which Wireless ADSL Modem/Router?

Hi,

Im looking into getting a Wireless ADSL Modem/Router for about £50+ and a
Wireless Network Card for about £20+?

Looking to buy in the High Street, not online.

You could just about get the D-Link T904 (?) kit from PC World for that
money.
Not very high spec but works well.
May I suggest you go for the one with GWL 122 WiFi adapter ?
It comes with over a meter of USB cable, which makes it much easier to
position for best signal,
often about 5' high is best. Yet, the actual USB dongle is small enough to
carry around and put in a laptop.
Best of all it works better then any other WiFi adaptor I had tried.

Stales have good Linksys deal, and PC World/Currys etc start ON LINE
sales tomorrow.

Don't waste your time too on the above model WRT54G doesn't have ADSL
modem built-in ..

i know that, i'm going to get a Netgear dg834g + usb NIC for £69 from
PCworld

If you want VoIP capability built in as well, the AVM Fritz!Box Fon WLAN
is worth a look - www.avm.de/en

Dabs have got a 3com box which comes with a USB dongle or PCMCIA (?)
card for <50 at the mo. I've installed one and it works well.
