I am looking for a reliable and cheap USB wi-fi adapter for my PC. Any
advice?

I've had excellent success with both Netgear, and Compaq. Although I'm a
big fan of Linksys, I had serious issues with their USB Wi-Fi adapter in
particular. A friend, and a co-worker, experienced similar frustration.
