Which telephone line to use?

I currently have two telephone lines in my house. One socket is in the hall
and is used for voice calls and one socket is in my study (beside my PC)
which is used for connection to the Internet. I'm planning on cancelling one
of my telephone lines.

I have recently received BT's Broadband kit which has been enabled on my
"voice" line (located in the hall). But that line is about 6 metres from my
PC. So I'm not sure which line to use for broadband. If I enable my "data"
line (in my study) then I need to run an extension into the hall for voice
calls and if I use my "voice" line (the one that has already been enabled)
then I have to run an extension into my study.

Any advice?

Bobby

Or enable the voice line and get a WIFI set up for your PC.

Of the 2 I would take the cordless phone though. Then you get the major
convenience of a cordless (Buy a decent DECT Cordless though it is worth
it)
