My company has a VPN that allows me to access the corporate network from
home using my cable modem and Nortel Networks Contivity VPN Client software.

I want to add a router between my cable modem and my PC in order to connect
my other home PC's to the internet (but only one computer will use the VPN
at work at a time). Do I need a router with an VPN endpoint capability like
the Linksys BEFVP41, or will the Linksys BEFSX41 work on my network since I
am only using the VPN client software at home.

Correction. Last sentence should have said:

Do I need a router with an VPN endpoint capability like the Linksys BEFSX41,
or will the Linksys BEFSR41 work on my network since I am only using the VPN
client software at home.

Mark;

I have setup several BEFVP41 routers for clients to do just what you
are asking. Just be sure you have all your pki profile information
correct and you should have no problems.
