As subject guys,

BT have promised ADSL availablility on my line very soon into Jan '05. I
have a part wired and part wireless home network at the moment so looking
for a good easy to set up / use reliable modem with built in firewall.

Vigor / Netgear / Belkin comments welcome?

Tim..

I'm happy with my Netgear DG834G, I think the DG834 is the same but
non-wireless.

From personal experience I can recommend the Netgear kit. I've got
Netgear modems and firewalls and Linksys access points and had no
problems.
I've fitted a lot of Netgear for commercial systems and they've been
fine, I have had trouble with Belkin and D-Link.

Many thanks to all who replied. Will be looking at the Netgear 834G and
