Hi
I downloaded a couple of news group updates. These groups usually have
150-250 new messages/threads daily, but yesterday and today i'm
getting 10,000 - 15,000 new messages/threads most of which are no
longer available and some, that are only a couple of days old are no
longer there?

The beta server fell over when it went live yesterday, so had to revert back
and fix the problems

If you have a look on their site they have been having problems the last few
days and are updating their servers.

If you look at the System Status on PlusNet's website you will see that
there is/has been a problem.

They are switching to a new server platform, but they are having some
troubles at the moment. Try deleting your header cache (in OE,
Maintanance, or the Mozilla News data directory).

We have had a few problems with the new server, so have rolled back to
the old platform. This will have caused all old headers to reappear.

The situation is currently being monitored by the network team and
they are looking to put the new server back up as soon as possible.

Further information can be found on the Service Status page or
newsgroup.

kind regards

Luke

Hi Martin,

We're in the middle of upgrading the Usenet platform at the moment,
unfortunately the new platform is experienced a few problems after it was
placed live.
For the latest information regarding the problem please see our service
status page at http://status.plus.net
