Hi all

A mate who is going onto broadband as a light user is asking
who is the best at the moment for emails and very light browsing
with no gaming.

Any comments from likewise light users of broadband [uk only]

TIA

You need to specify what is 'best' for you(r mate) ?
But I reckon Plus.net Broadband Plus @ £14.99 p.m., no upfront* connection
fee, free modem
and unlimited downloads (slowed down P2P though) is the best value.
They are pretty reliable and have very good and responsive customer support.
If you sign up with them please use my ID 'wester' as a referrer and save me
few pence,
thanks, regards,
Martin

I am a light user on Metronet (www.metronet.co.uk)

For 512k from £11.75 pm is hard to beat and tech support is very responsive
