I just installed the netgear WGR614 mainly for purposes to use a
laptop with wifi. In addition however, I have ReplayTV which needs to
be added to the network. Previously, I had RTV connected to my XP
machine via ICS/crossover cable and it worked flawlessly. I had read
that the WGR614 accepted crossover cables, but when I plug it into the
router it does not recognize it. Are there any tricks to this? It
seems like I need to setup a static IP for the replay unit, but I'm
not sure how to do that thru the router setup screen. -kyuss
