I went ahead and bought the thing. And By George !!! the thing works
!!!! One thing to remember.
If you are using DHCP on your LAN DON't set MAC cloning. An IP
address will be assigned to the WGA54G and to your computer. (one for
each MAC address) Cloning just confuses the LAN.
I don't detect any speed isues but I noticed signal strength is
showing between 50 ~ 70 percent and this with both devices INCHES
away from each other. Don't know if this a a product of teh WGA or my
router/AP (LynkSys WRT54G)
