WGA54G can I use it?

I have a eMac that I want to connect to my wireless net. I want to us
802.11g but the machine I got does not support the Airport Extreme,
Apple's 802.11G card. I have asked the useless sales people at Best
Buy and have scoured usenet groups for answers but have gotten
conflicting answers so once and for all..

Can I use the WGA54g to connect my eMac to my wireless net? It seems
to me that if I can connect an Xbox or PS2 with it I should be able
to do the same for my eMac. If not someone please explain to me why.

I went ahead and bought the thing. And By George !!! the thing works
!!!! One thing to remember.
If you are using DHCP on your LAN DON't set MAC cloning. An IP
address will be assigned to the WGA54G and to your computer. (one for
each MAC address) Cloning just confuses the LAN.

I don't detect any speed isues but I noticed signal strength is
showing between 50 ~ 70 percent and this with both devices INCHES
away from each other. Don't know if this a a product of teh WGA or my
router/AP (LynkSys WRT54G)
