Westell VersaLink model 327W without using modem?

Hi,

somebody offers me very cheaply (or maybe free) Westell VersaLink model
327W router/modem. I do not have DSL and do not plan to have one in
future. Can I use it just as wireless router/access point (or maybe in
Ad-hoc mode?) for connecting our two workstations and small Linux
server (with normal dial-up modem) together and to the Internet via
dial-up?

I know it is probably really silly question, but still ...

Thanks for any answer,

Matej
