wep keys and ssid

Hello all,
I have 2 ssid's running on my network, one with 8 wireless
access points and one with 3. i wish to set wep keys on both of the ssid's .

1. do i have to set the wep key on all wireless access points?
2. if so i assume the same key would be ideal?

any thoughts or hints more than welcome

2. Same key for all access points, but you should use a different key for
each ssid.
