WEP key innacurate???

hi friends,
I've had my computer online with the mn-730 into the
matching base station for about a month and a half, with
pretty good reception, seeing as it's all the way across
the house. just the other day, I was booted off the
network and couldn't reconnect because i had the wrong WEP
key.... now I've done everything with this, which is
writing it down and manually and typing it in, and using
copy and paste with a disk off the base station management
program. it just won't accept it for some reason. anyone
have a suggestion? thanks a lot for any help.

well i disabled all the security on the whole network to
see if that worked, and it STILL said i have the wrong
security key! but hey, who wants their networking
hardware to work right? if anyone has a clue, give me a
reply. thanks for the help.

reboot the computer. reset the base station. re-establish the WEP key
manually. keep the WEP key in a txt file on your computer.
