Windows XP Pro
MN-510

When I tried to use the install disk, I got the message
that the WEP is invalid so I aborted the install. I then
went to to the MS Broadband utility to do a manual install
and tried to change the WEP key under computer settings
and I could not save my WEP key.

I shut off the Wireless security and it still does not
connect. I have a good signal and I do see my SSID on the
wireless workstation but I can't seem to get this working.

It was actaully working when I first set the system up but
it has not worked for the last month.

I have another workstation that has no problems at all so
I swapped the MN-510's and still get the some
connectivlity problems.

I called MSFT Broadband support and thay had me uninstall
and reinstall both the adapters and base station and
reinstall it and it did not fix the problem. They gave up
after several escallations and attempts. They suggested
that I contact XP support since they think it's a driver
problem.

Any ideas?

Are you using two different workgroups or is the computer
with the problem in a different domain, such as a work
computer?

You can only use numbers and letters between A and F,
right? did you try using characters that are not allowed?

I know that and I have it working on two other
workstations. It's just not working on one and noone
seem to know how to fix it. I've spent hours with tech
support in india and they are clueless.

Seems like many people have the same issue and I've never
seena real answer to this issue.
