WEP - connects/disconnects every 2 seconds.

I have a Netgear ME102 Access point (Rev B with the latest firmware)
and laptop using a D-Link DWL-610 card. Setup has been working for a
number of months without WEP.

If I enable 128-bit WEP on both devices using the same key, the laptop
connects but then the connection drops almost immediately. It then
reconnects/disconnects every 2 seconds. I'm sure the key is correct,
if I enter an invalid key for the DWL-610 then it will not even
connect.

For now I've had to disable WEP and have settled for MAC filtering.

Anyone have any ideas how I might be able to get WEP working with
these two devices?
