I can share files from pc to laptop, but not laptop to pc, but can use the
printer which is next to the PC, when i click on
the icon for 'bedroom' pc i get error, '' pc is not accessable, you might
not have permision to use this network resource.. contact the admin of this
server to find out if you have access permissions. ''
Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at
this computer.???????
weird one way system??

Hi
That means that the sharing on the PC are configured correctly to there is
some thing blocking the Sharing when the traffic is from the Laptop to the
PC.
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network
settings,http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is
allowed to be shared.
Vista File and Printer Sharing-

Basic XP -

Advanced XP - http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;304040
Printer Sharing XP -
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...utt_july2.mspx
Windows Native Firewall setting for Sharing XP -

Windows XP patch for Sharing with Vista -

Hi
The information above is for both WinXP and Vista, ignore the Vista parts.
