Weird Linksys Problem

I am having difficulty connecting to some (only) websites via
my Linksys BEFW11S4. I have it hooked up to a Comcast Cable
Modem and two machines, one Linux, one Win 98 SE and a Wireless
Hookup to an XP system. All works fine. A few weeks ago (suddenly)
I could no longer connect to BritishAirways website - ba.com and
britishairways.com. All 3 systems could no longer connect to that
website.

I unplug my Linksys Router and plug one of my systems directly
into the Cable Modem and bingo, I can connect to BA.
What the heck gives? I can see NOTHING in the Linksys settings
to suggest that I am filtering or otherwise blocking any sites.
I suspect there may be other websites, but this is one I really need
to connect to. Any ideas?? Linksys point at Comcast, Comcast point
at Linksys and I dont have any answers. Everything seems to be working
fine otherwise.

Rebooting the router worked for me.

Also, I'd check the firmware version and upgrade if there is one.

You mentioned that you unplugged the router. Have you reset it? You
may or may not know that unplugging the router won't reset it.

To perform a hard reset, simply unplug and plug it back in while also
using paperclip to depress the reset button in for 30 seconds then
release. Your router will now be reset to factory specs. If you have
settings that our ISP requires to be hard coded to the router then you
will obviously need to know them to re-enter into the router after
it's been reset. Your router also should allow you to reset to factory
specs from within the router interface.

You should also check the Linksys website for a more current firmware
update and download/install it to your router itself.

This often involves switching it off for a few of minutes not just a
flick off and on.

Try a different router. If it works, sends yours back to LinkSys for repair.

You may also try manually adding that sites IP address into your hosts file
on the PC that is having trouble finding it.

It may not be your router. If British Airways changed servers, your ISP may
not be able to find the new address until they flush their cache.

How many friends do you have?

Will you say more about your dreams?

Our computers are connected through an electrical bus. Three computers
linked together use the same signals from the gravity sensors and
clocks, using a Borda error correcting protocol for checking
integrity of the data and tripping the VGL system.

I had similar problems connecting to some sites which had worked
previously - it turned out that the routing table on the Linksys had
become corrupt. I enables Dynamic routing in the Setup/Advanced
Routing panel, and that reset the table annd cured the problem
