got a question for you I am struggling with

you are a website developer for netfx corporation. You create a website
called my website for testing purposes on a windows 2000 server computer
that is running IIS. Only you will access the website from your windows xp
computer. You attempt to connect to the website using internet explorer on
your computer, but you cannot, you must be able to access my website from
your computer.
You should
1 add an address (A) record for IIS computer name to DNS
2 Register the IIS computer name with a WINS server
3 Add a record my site to the local hostss file on your computer
4 move the web content of the new site to the \inetpub\mysite folder on the
IIS computer

many of lifes failures are people that did not realise how close they where
to success before they gave up.

See reply in m.p.windows.server.general. Please don't multipost - if you
need to post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost instead, by posting
a single message to a handful of relevant groups (separate the NG names with
commas) so that everyone can follow the thread. Thanks :-)
