Hello all,
I am somewhat confused here.
I try to configure a webdav access for my company's employees. Here is the
server setup:
1. Windows 2003 server, IIS 6.0
2. Windows 2000 server, here is all the files storage
These servers form a AD domain.
The windows 2003 server is running the virtual directory.
- I created a virtual directory "webdav"
- disabled anonymous logons
- require ssl
- enable integrated windows login
- permissions: read, write, browse
When i point the virtual directory to a local folder on the windows 2003
server, all works fine.
When i point the virtual directory to a share on the windows 2003 server,
all works fine.
However, when i point the virtual directory to a share on the 2000 server, i
get a ACL error.
For testing i did the following:
- I created a share \\2003-server\testfolder an other share
\\2000-server\testfolder.
- These testfolders have exactly the same ACL.
- when i point to the 2003 server, all works fine, when i point to the 2000
server, i get the ACL-error again.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your time,
Daïm Willemse
