Is anyone currently using some web proxy software on their home network?

I need to setup a web proxy to allow a remote site of mine to access the
internet - only needs to be for a few days whilst we have our cisco kit
configured.

Any recommendations ... just need basic web proxy for half a dozen users for
upto a week so one that comes with a full functional trial would be fine
too - theres a lot out there and some of them look dodgy so prefer a
recommendation of someone who has one in use.

Squid is a popular free/open HTTP proxy that I used when I was on a
dialup connection - I don't recall any problems, but that was quite a
while ago. It can be made to run on Windows but if you have a spare
machine you might prefer to run it on Linux/*BSD.

Very simple proxy server, I used it when on dialup and experimenting
with my NAT router, works fine on my local network as well.
