I come across web pages that seem to be a trap of sorts.

The back button doesn't work ( I use Konqueror); the same page is
continually displayed regardless.

I wondered is this a browser quirk or web page coding..
eg

It's the code. I see it all the time. Just use your history.

The page is full of Javascript coding, including
the kill of thas back button and plenty of Doubleclick
spam crap handlers.

Yes indeed. Web browsers should have killfiles just like mail
and newsreaders.
