Hello!
I'm having a problem with the internet connection of a couple of users on my
company's network. All users connect to the web, using the IP of their VLAN's
router as gateway. In addition, the IP addesses are static and there are no
conflicts. The DNS address used, is the correct one. No proxy server is used
and Internet Explorer is set to automatically detect the network settings.
Everything on these two users works properly, except the web. When you type
an internet address and press the enter key, Internet Explorer reports a DNS
error.

Please, help!

Hi.

Pinging on name does not work on any of the clients. Even the ones that
currently work properly, such as mine.

Thank you very much for your time. I really appreciate your help!

No. They can't connect via FTP either. I assume all other applications that
use the web, are not working as well.

Thanks once again!

hi,
if http://207.46.197.32/ =(http://microsoft.com) is not working then is a
problem of routing or proxy.

Yes, http://microsoft.com is not working.
Each organizational unit in my company, uses a VLAN connection. For example,
one of these users, uses the IP address 192.168.104.4, while the gateway is
192.168.104.1.
What is kinda weird, is that other users on the same organizational unit,
access the web without any problems.

in that case you have to check if the ports of these 2 computers are in the
same vlan with router(maybe the router port isn't added on vlan where are
these 2 computers) and if the router routes these 2 Ip's or the 192.168.104.0
class.
