WDS works for Laptops not Wired Computers. Please Help. Thanks

I have connected my house's internet to my garage using two Linksys
WRT54G v3 with DD-WRT v23 Service Pack 2.

I used http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/tutorials...le.php/3628576 to
setup a a Wireless Distribution System, or WDS.

The garage's Linksys WRT54G v3 is connected to a Linksys EtherFast
4116 16 port 10/100 Ethernet Switch that is wired to three XP
computers.

I also have an Apple laptop that can always connect wirelessly to the
internet via the garage's WRT54G v3.

The three XP computers some days connect to the internet via the
garage's WRT54G v3. Some days they do not connect.

Question: What can I do to make the three XP computers connect the the
internet everyday? Thanks.
