Onwards to Entanet !

30GB per day 300GB per month no cap no FUP.

Doing it through where I work, didn't realize I could, what a dimwit I
am.

Won't say how much it's costing me ;-)

Do I keep my Virgin e-mail address that I've had for eleven years..?

Do you know, I might not bother..

Jim.

costing you £19.99/month, same as the rest of us. BTW 330GB/month, 30 peak,
300 offpeak.
as to the email address, i just use hotmail as i can then change isp without
the worry.

Buy a domain name for email and you can keep it for ever....

As for VM and the rest of them you get what you pay for

It won't be cheap!

You don't get the choice. Same with any ISP-specific email address.

This basically seems like the best deal for heavy users at the moment
(as long as you can schedule your downloads off peak). Is it worth
going with an entanet reseller like ukfsn or just getting it straight
from them ?.

NO!! It will stop as soon as you kove and can't even be 'downgraded' to
a dial-up access.

However this is common with almost all ISPs now that if you leave, you
loose their address (who can blame them?).

As others say, the alternative is your own domain hosted at somewhere
like Fasthosts (about £4/month inc the domain registration which is free
at present and no connection charge)for incoming and use the new ISP for
outgoing.

Or sign up for a 'dial-up' service complete with e-mail and only use the
e-mail part (remembering to dial-in every couple of months to keep the
account active).

Mike

Entanet are a wholesaler, no? Which actual ISP are you supplied via,
or did you go for a bespoke package?

As I said, we, the company who I work for, are a VISP/Entanet
reseller.
So basically I'm signing up for an account same way as one of our
customers would.

I've had my own corporate partner logon for ages !
Why oh why I didn't consider this before is utter madness.

You can't get it straight from them, you can only get it through an
authorized reseller.

I was actually going to go with ADSL24 until I realized that they were
and Entanet reseller..then the penny dropped.

Jim.
