Hi,

I want to use Warlinux on a Toshiba Tecra 9000 using its built in WiFi card,
which I believe is orinoco-based.

I've downloaded the ISO and burnt it to CD, which appears to boot OK. If I
run iwconfig I get a screen showing now ESSID (e.g. "") and an AP of
44:44:44:44:44:44 together with a nickname of "HERMES I". The link quality
is 0/92 and if I run wavemon I see no AP's listed well within range of my
access point.

I was wondering whether it was a compatibility issue with my WiFi card? The
only postings I can find relating to these messages are on Powerbooks.

Any help appreciated!

Cheers,
Can

Run lsmod to see if the driver loaded. If so, you need to configure the
card. <cat /var/log/messages> will give you additional info about what
devices loaded and if they came up.
