WAP54G as repeater for WAP54G?

I've got a couple of Linksys WAP54G boxes connected to a BEFSR41
router, and they seem to work pretty well. I need to add another AP,
and instead of wiring the new AP back to the router, it'd be much more
convenient to set up a repeater.

My existing WAP54G (V2) boxes claim to be able to repeat the signal
from a WRT54G, but not that of another WAP54G. Is this a limitation
of the V2 hardware, and is there an easy way to add a Linksys repeater
to a couple of Linksys APs, or am I going to have to run some more
wires?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
