WAP54G flickering LED

On my new Linksys WAP54G Wireless Access Point, firmware V1.08, the WLAN
Act LED is flickering all the time, even when both antennas are
disconnected. Also, the WLAN Link LED is illuminated all the time. Is
this a bug? Can I fix it?

Linksys support keeps telling me to do a reset or upgrade the firmware!

Thanks,
Diederik

WLAN Link LED is illuminated? thats normal it tells you wireless is working
if it is not on then you will not be able to get Wireless conection
Act LED is flickering all the time, is not normal unles you have a computer
with Wireless card on in the range of the Access Point
Wireless card pole all the time looking for Access Points so you will get
flickering even if you are not using the computer

When there are no antennas connected how can the WLAN Act led flickering?
I still think this is a bug but the WAP is working fine so who cares? I
just like things to work the way they should. That's all.

Thanks anyway,
Diederik

its not bright enough to detect the antennae, the RF will be present
on the sockets and the rest of the stuff working as expected
