WAP54G Bridge & WPC54G

Hey all,

I'll be right to the point... I have bought two WAP54Gs to make a
connection between two rooms... so the WAP54Gs are in bridge mode and
everything runs good. However, I threw a WPC54G into the mix for
wireless access on my notebook and for some odd reason, it won't pick
up the network. Is there a reason for this? Would I need to buy the
router, run that to the one AP and then the notebook would pick up
access from the router?

If so, I don't see the sense in the APs not broadcasting connections
throughout, but only to each other in bridge mode; I've tried
everything I could think of.

Thanks,

Jason

On the page where you set the AP to bridge mode, there is this warning:

Note: When set to "AP Client" and "Wireless Bridge" mode, this device
will only communicate with another Linksys Access Point (WAP54G). When
set to "Wireless Repeater" mode, this device will only communicate with
another Linksys Access Point (WAP54G) and Linksys Wireless-G Router
(WRT54G).

By definition, APs in single point bridge mode only talk to each other and
ignore any other signals.
