wap11 repeater "disappears"

Hi,

Got a WAP11 setup as a repeater to another WAP11 Access Point. Periodically,
the repeater "disappears" -- can't ping it, doesn't show up on the XP list
of available networks. The two WAP11s are setup with two different IP
addresses, using two different SSIDs. Rebooting the repeater fixes the
problem, atleast for a few hours.

Anyone seen this?

ok, turns out the SSID of the repeater should be set to the same as the base
AP...duh.

Now only if I can change the SSID...sounds trivial, however when I log into
the AP (via a wired connection) and try to change the SSID, it says
"success" but refreshes the screen with the old SSID. Time to talk to the
Linksys support fellas...
