I need a 16-bit (must be 16-bit, not 32-bit) Wireless PCMCIA card +
driver software for an ancient laptop that runs Win98 SE.

I only need the card to run 11b.

What have you?

Please reply to g3nrw at yahoo.co.uk

Thank you

Ian

Advertising is not allowed in uk.comp.home-networking
Try uk.adverts.computer

ICBW (don`t have a laptop) but I thought PCMCIA only accessed at 16 bits
anyway ? - at least that was the case back in the *early* days of
PCMCIA...

PCMCIA memory in an Amiga A1200 actually SLOWED the machine down because
it was 16 bit access rather than 32 bit.

No! - don't apologise.

It's not your fault that some people cannot differentiate between a cry
for help and an offer for sale.

It not even semantics - it's just whinging by someone who has nothing
better to do with his time.

You are obviously clueless - there's advertising to buy something and
advertising to sell something, they are both advertising, and the
charter for uk.comp.home-networking does not differentiate.

Speaking of amiga 1200s, these only support 16 bit PCMCIA... BUT do have
wireless adapters available for them. If u can identify the specific
brand used, and can get 98se drivers for it then one of those should do
the job.
