What sort of WAN? Microsoft uses RRAS for that. You can run RRAS on
virtual machines and virtual networks under Virtual Server or Hyper-V to
emulate routed networks including site-to-site VPN links.

Hello

I already have routning in my lab and I am utilizing virtual networks on a
hyper v server. I would like to simulat connectity at low band width i.e. 64k
or 128k. I assume I would have to deploy some kind of "proxy" on one of my
virual switched networks to simulate a slow link. I just need to know what i
can put on that server so i can easily manipulate the bandwith

That is a different question really. I don't know of anything that would
do that. There are bandwidth limiters that run at the OS level in Windows.
