Wan Blocked MN-500 Help?

I keep getting this msg in the base station log file . I
didnt included the ip's dst and src in the error message.
How do allow access?

Connection attempt to base station from WAN blocked --

This is the router's firewall blocking a potential attack
from the WAN.

To get access to the LAN from the WAN you'll have to open
ports (or disable the firewall which is not recommended),
but the actual ports depend on what you are trying to do.
Why do you need access the LAN from the WAN side?

I am just experiencing a problem with and irc chat client
and thought this to be the prob. I did try disabling the
firewall and that didnt work either.
