Win9x machines cannot join an Active Directory domain. However, domain
users can log onto the domain from a Win9x machine. Try:
1. Join the Win9x machines to a workgroup that has the same NetBIOS name as
the domain.
2. Install the dsclient on the Win9x machines.
3. Configure the Win9x machines to log onto an NT domain with NetBIOS name
of the domain.
4. Disable or configure SMB signing - see:
