I am tring to setup a one-way trust, where Windows 2003 (Domain2k3) trust
Windows NT 4.0 (DomainNT); a Symantec firewall is between the two networks.
I provide artical Q179442 to our firewall administrator, he has configured
the firewall as the artical indicates.

On Domain2k3 when I try to establish the trust (as stated in artical 325874)
to DomainNT I recieve the following "The Local Security Authority is unable
to obtain an RPC connection to the domain controller KWSC02. Please check
that the name can be resolved and that the server is available.". I can ping
the PDC in the DomainNT, I can successfull execute the following "nbtstat -a
<hostnamePDC>"; the command work both directions.

Thanks for any thoghts!

My guess is that it will try to find the server using <domainname 1C>
rather than <hostname PDC> .
