W2K Server and DHCP for 70-216

I'm running W2K Server (SP4 and all other applicable updates). Going through
the DHCP installation in preparation for 70-216. After installing DHCP I
expect to receive a "you must reboot..." message, but there is none. Also,
DHCP was enabled after the installation (without having to reboot).

I thought that I would have had to reboot. Does anybody know if one of the
service packs did something to eliminate the necessity?

Thanks,
JR

PS The only other thing out of the ordinary is that I'm doing this over
Terminal Services (Admin mode).

Don't recall having to reboot for this. It should not have been ready to
go if you were on a domain, though. It needs to be authorized in AD.

Thanks Rob.

I didn't have AD running at the time so it didn't need to be authorized;
should have mentioned that. All I had to do was set a scope and activate.

Nit-noid stuff anyway. I'm just going through the exercises in the book;
which said that I would be prompted to reboot.

Thanks again,
JR
