Hello,

In my Windows 2000 Active Directory domain I set firewall policies using a
batch file and ipsecpol. Over the years the batch file has grown but the
system works well for my needs. It contains lines such as this:

ipsecpol -w REG -p "firewall_base" -r "time_a" -f *+0:8013 -n PASS
ipsecpol -w REG -p "firewall_base" -r "time_b" -f *:8013+0 -n PASS

Now I'm getting ready to upgrade to Windows 2003 Server and ipsecpol
doesn't run in 2003. How can I implement my rules in the new OS?

Thanks,
Mark

You have to use the ipsec netsh helper in W2K3 for command line
configuration. Check out this link for more information:
