Currently I have about 6 W2K clients not reporting to WSUS. They all stopped
reporting at about the same time on the same day.
Here is a log file from one of the machines :

I see I keep getting the 0x8009200D error, but after days of searching,
nothing seems to work. WSUS worked great on all of these machines for nearly
a year, but now all of a sudden stopped working on these few machines. The
group policy did not change at all, and all of my XP clients still work
great.
WSUS is running on SBS2003.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have had the same problem, but have never seen such a log,...don't even know
where to look for it.

I just manually "catch up" the machine by going to Windows Update manually
over the web. Often once they get caught up, they start working right
again. I think it may be a particular "update" causing it that is corrected
by later update (but I can't prove it),...so manually catching them up gets
them past the "bad spot".

If the Windows Update site gives problems, then you can take them out of the
GPO Scope and let them use Automatic Updates with the original MS's servers
directly (temporarily) until they are caught up.

I have never found, seen, or ever heard of any other fix,....I have never
really heard of the problem being acknowledged for that matter. But, I
admit I have not looked around that much either.
