Hello...

We recently upgraded our NT server to a new W2000 server.
Our workstations are still W98SE. Frequently, several
workstations will loose their connection to the server for
no reason that our computer support supplier can identify.
We have upgraded our router and ond other networking
hardware.

If anyone has haad similar problems and resolved them I
would appreciate hearing from you!

Thank you!

Stu

I am not a tech. guy, but after a user has lost the
connection, if he logs off without restarting, the
password is not accepted. To reconnect, we need to restart
the workstation. One of our software suppliers suggested
it might have to do with our internet connection, based on
another situation he was familiar with...

The problem may be SMB signing or LAN Manager authentication level.
