I need to upgrade my cbss.vxd file from version 2222 to
version 2226 to solve some problem on my laptop with
win98se and a wireless-G card installed on it. However, i
found out that the cbss.vxd on my win98se disk has only
the version 2222, where can I get the version 2226? The
file .vxd, is it a file proprietary only to the operating
system or can we also get that from the driver of a
network card?

Please advise, thanks!

>I have a problem that seems to be of a similar kind. In

trying to enable file and printer sharing from the check
boxes of the configuration tab, the next stage asks for the
98SE installation CD to be inserted, which I do, but the
message comes up that the "vserver.vxd" file can't be
found. I've searched the disk independently, and confirmed
that no such file is there. I don't know where to find it.
If someone can answer your question, then maybe mine will
also be answered.

A huge thank you to anyone who can help.
