VPN Wirelessly

Hello to all,

A client connects remotely via VPN within Windows XP to the server at the
main office, through routing and remote access.

At the remote office one client is connected directly to the ADSL router via
a network cable. This client connects to the VPN with no problem. Another
client at the remote office has just obtained a new laptop. The new laptop
connects wirelessly, and gets Internet access and OWA emails fine. However,
the laptop cannot make a connection to the VPN wirelessly. I have checked the
laptop and there is no antivirus that I can see blocking anything or anything
else.

Strangely, a second laptop which was able to connect via the VPN wirelessly
suddenly stopped connecting after I attended the customer premises. Yet, I
never touched that laptop at all or did anything to the router.

I am totally perplexed as to what the problem could be. I gather it may be
the router as the customer said they have to keep rebooting it every 2 days
as it keeps dropping connection.

But I wondered whether it may be problematic at times trying to connect to a
VPN wirelessly. The initial good laptop the client says, was working fine!!!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
Jeff
