Hi

I'm sure somebody here has been through this and can give a little advice.
I'm running a couple of Win98SE machines (and an old Win95) with a DG814
modem/router. My company has just decided to visit the 21st century and
install a VPN server (is that the correct term?) from Astaro. I have been
onto Microsoft's web-site and donwloaded their VPN client, then I tried to
install it. The message was "you need dial-up networking 1.4". So I went and
downloaded that and ran it, accepted the license aggreement, and who knows
what it did. Then I re-try the VPN client install and it says the same
thing, "you need DUN 1.4". Ah well. I CAN create a new connection in Dial-Up
Netorwking, and I can enter my username, password, and IP, but it always fails
to connect. So,
1) Is there anything I have to do with my 814?
2) How do I find out what version DUN I'm running?
TIA.
