Hi. I configured the win2k3 VPN on a server. From the outside i can connect
on the VPN tunnel and loggin into it. But i dont seems to be able to see the
networks computer, or have the computer services or able to control anything
at all. Is there something i missed somewhere?

Im using the active directory as authentificating device, and for now its at
the lower level of security, no PKI, or encryption until i can get the VPN
works as i want.

Where am i supposed to set what the people connected to the vpn have the
right to see/use?

Thank you

That doesn't mean it isn't working:
1. VPN doesn't provide for "naming". You have to do that separately.
2. The credentials you used do *not* log you into the domain, they only
establish the VPN connection.

Keep in mind that VPN is a "dialup" technology. It has the same behavor as
if you connected into the network using a dialup modem with a phone number.
1. The local "VPN Adapter" replaces what used to be the "modem".
2. PPTP replaces what used to be PPP
3. The IP# replaces what used to be the Phone number.
4. The Public Internet replaces what used to be the Public Phone Line.
