Access to folders is controlled at the user level, no matter how the
user connects to the system.

Thnank you, Bill!

There are a lot of shared folders (like Microsoft SQL Server, REPL_DATA,
SYSVOL, etc.) that I don't want my vpn user even to see. I set all
permissions on those folders to deny for the vpn user. But user can still
see those foders....is it possible to hide them? What is the best way to
deny permissions to all shared folders to one user?
Thank you in advance for your answer.

Martin

You might want to look into 'access based enumeration'

There is a tool that microsoft provides for this:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

It will prevent users from seeing folders they do not have permission
