Hi,

Does anyone know how to activate the tray icon for active incoming VPN
connections on a windows 2000 server? We have three servers. One is working
as a standalone server and does show a tray icon for each user that is
connected to the RAS server. The two others are in a domain and don't show
the icon(s). Is there a group policy associated that will do the trick or am
I missing something?

Regards
Jan

I don't know for sure if it will do it, but go to the network adapter
properties for the adapter used for VPN connections and select "show icon
when connected". You can also open the Remote Access Management Console and
under the server a folder for "remote access clients" will show currently
connected users. --- Steve
