Does anyone know what port(s) need to be open to allow
VPN passthrough?

May depend on what flavour of VPN (ie: manufacturer) but most use UDP 500
....perhaps others. You might try using Google to look for the VPN software name
and the word "ports" or just looking through the VPN software documentation?

If you are talking about standard PPTP, the port is 1723.

Unfortunately, I've tried forwarding that port to my server but it doesn't
work. The problem probably relates to GRE protocol not being supported by
the MN-700, but I have not been able to locate any documents that confirm
that. I have found the following MS KB article that describes why incoming
PPTP packets don't work with Win2k NAT server:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...roduct=win2000

I'm assuming that this may be the same issue.

I would guess that we are waiting for MS to update the firmware to fix this.
