VPN speed test

I have VPN at two locations. User login to the server and
access their files via VPN. The link seems to be slow,
How can I test the speed between locations. Please tell
me from I can download that tool and test.

VPN is always slow. It has a high protocol overhead and in duel speed links
like ADSL it will always run at the slower "upload speed".

I don't know of any measuring tools. Maybe someone else here will know of
some.
