I have a VPN connection like below:
net-192.168.2.0/24----Windows2000/rras-----VPN---Internet---VPN---Windows2003---net-192.168.1.0/24
Before applying Windows 2003 SP1 the connection between the networks
192.168.x.x works fine, but after applying the service pack the connections
stopped working.
Analysing the VPN Interface on Windows 2003 server, I can see the packets
going and backing, but the back packets arent forwarded to the ethernet
device.
It seems that there is an inside firewall in Windows 2003 that was activated
with the service pack.
ICS and windows Firewall are stopped.
I have already applied the HotFix 8976651 but didn't make any difference.
What more can I do before open an issue in Microsoft help desk?
