VPN routers

I am considering a new router for my office, and would like to get VPN. Thus
far, I am aware of the Netgear FWG-114P and the D-link DI-824VUP. I would
also imagine the Linksys makes such a product. Any thoughts on which one I
should select? Also, how does a VPN differ from using my current method of
remote access, which is GOTOMYPC?
