VPN Problem accessing a drive on the VPN server

Hello,

I'm having a problem trying to connect to a shared drive on the VPN server.
I make the VPN connection OK, but now I can not access a shared drive which
resides on the VPN server.

I am using static IP's to assign to clients and I'm using a single NIC.
I've gone through every document I could find on the web and Microsoft
relating to this with no avail.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,

can you ping the server by IP? If yes, can you ping it by name? this troubleshooting page may help too.
